Oyster Point Academy offers a special education program for students who are more successful in an alternative school setting. Our students learn in a therapeutic academic setting with low student-to-teacher ratios and a solid behavior management and support system. We have a close, interpersonal relationship with our students, parents and the school systems.
Oyster Point Academy’s philosophy of education encompasses academic and emotional/social growth for each student. We structure the day school environment to facilitate and enhance a positive sense of self-respect and respect for others. Our school cultivates a constructive attitude for learning and emphasizes enhancement of social skills. Family involvement is integrated in various ways to ensure that students carry positive behavior back to their homes and community.
Students at Oyster Point Academy are also encouraged to be active in the community, and are provided with opportunities to participate in field trips and activities. Learn more about events at Oyster Point Academy here.
